Comics are great: the exaggerated gesture, violence and sexuality, the way they pack tons of narrative and emotional information into a limited space. Familiar Faces is yet another attempt to figure out who I was and how that may or may not relate to who I am now. The animal avatars of Familiar Faces can allow my Dick and Jane-ish kids to really act out.
